Mumbai: Anger has been seen across the country following the gang rape of a Dalit girl in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. Even after all the efforts of the administration and the government, incidents like rape are not being curbed, which is why the cases of rape of innocent girls are continuing from all over the country.
Meanwhile, the rape case from Hathras to Balrampur has again forced people to think about when the girls of the country would be able to get out of their homes without fear. Meanwhile, many Bollywood stars are also keeping their opinions on these issues. One of these actress Anushka Sharma has also posted on her Instagram account and shared her thoughts on improving the society. Anushka has expressed her anger over the difference between sons and daughters in her post.
Anushka wrote that having a boy in our society is taken as a 'privilege' but why is it. The actress further wrote that " “In our society having a male child is seen as ‘privilege’. Of course, it is no more a privilege’ than having a girl child but the fact is that this so-called privilege has been viewed incorrectly and with an extremely myopic vision.’ She further added, "The gender of the child doesn’t make you privileged but it is actually the responsibility you owe to society to raise a boy so well that women feel safe and protected.”
