Anushka Sharma is all set for her upcoming film Chakda Express. In the film the actress is playing the role of Cricketer Jhulam Goswami. The actress is currently shooting for it. Recently the actress shares a pic of her dressed as Jhulan Goswani.

Sharing the picture Anushka wrote,  "A moment from a story that needs to be told!  Speaking of the picture, Anushka is seen recreating a moment from Jhulan’s life. She can be seen making a phone call while pouring rain beats down on everything around her. The movie is directed by Prosit Roy and backed by Karnesh Ssharma's Clean Slate Filmz.”

Earlier the actress sharng her first look wrote, “Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain  Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.” 

On the work front, Anushka Sharma  donned the producer hat for the OTT film 'Bulbbul' as well as the hit series 'Paatal Lok'. She will next be seen playing cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming film 'Chakda 'Xpress' that is slated to release on an OTT platform soon.
