The AP SSC supplementary examinations were conducted from 2nd to 10th June, with approximately 6-7 lakh students appearing for the exams. These supplementary exams offered an opportunity for students who were unable to clear the AP Class 10 exams initially.

The Class 10 exam results were released by the Directorate of Government Examinations in Andhra Pradesh on May 6. This year's AP SSC exam had a 72.26 percent overall pass rate, which is a five percentage point increase over last year. The pass rate for girls was 75.38 percent, compared to 69.27 percent for boys, showing that girls outperform boys. With an overall pass rate of 87.47%, Parvathipuram Manyam topped the list of districts with the highest pass percentage.

Schools that achieved 100% pass rates in 2023 would receive incentives from the state government, according to state education minister Botsa Satyanarayana. Approximately 933 schools this year received 100% passing grades. Around 67.27 percent of students passed the AP SSC Class 10 exam the year before that, in 2021. In total, 70.7 percent of the girls passed the exam, compared to 64.02 percent of the boys.
