Apple announced new models of the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pro. The company equipped them with faster Intel processors, and also improved the problematic keyboard.

The 15-inch MacBook Pros have changed the most - they now include ninth-generation Intel processors. There are three models in total:

  1. with a six-core Core i7 processor with a frequency of 2.6 GHz and the possibility of acceleration up to 4.5 GHz;
  2. with an eight-core Core i9 processor with a frequency of 2.3 GHz and the possibility of acceleration to 4.8 GHz;
  3. with an eight-core Core i9 2.4 GHz processor and up to 5 GHz acceleration.

With 13-inch models with a touchpad, the situation is about the same, but still not so impressive. The basic version comes with a quad-core Core i5 with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and the possibility of acceleration to 4.1 GHz. The top configuration boasts a quad-core Core i7 processor, the frequency of which can be increased to 4.7 GHz.

The remaining characteristics of both MacBook Pro remained unchanged. Apple only slightly reworked the keyboard: a part of the mechanism is now made of a different material, so there should be fewer problems. However, the design is all the same third-generation keyboards that the company installed in the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air 2018.

13-inch MacBook Pro without a touchpad: Apple has decided not to update it. They are left with outdated Intel seventh generation dual-core processors and second generation problematic keyboards.

The cost of a new 13-inch MacBook Pro is 156 thousand rubles. The minimum price for a 15-inch laptop is 208 thousand.
