In a bid to increase its market share in China and other Asian countries, Apple Inc. is planning to improve and revitalize its retail network. The company also plans to renovate its current locations in Europe and the US concurrently.

By 2027, Apple Inc. plans to open 15 fresh stores in the Asia-Pacific area, five in Europe and the Middle East, and four each in the United States and Canada, as per report. Apple also intends to renovate or move 13 stores in North America, nine stores in Europe, and six stores in Asia. Over the next four years, Apple is planning a total of 53 new, relocated, or refurbished stores.

Apple Inc. is focusing its growth efforts on the Asia-Pacific region and plans to open 21 new or renovated locations by 2027. In the previous year, this market contributed almost $130 billion in revenue to Apple, or about one-third of its overall earnings. Notably, nations like India have been essential to the expansion of the corporation. Apple opened its first two stores in India with success in April.

Apple is reportedly in talks to set up a third store in India by 2025, specifically in Mumbai, Borivali.  There are also plans to move the current Apple shop in Perth, Australia. In addition to renovating Apple's Ginza store in Japan, which opened as the company's first outlet there in 2003, four additional stores for China are also planned for that year. The Ginza store had to temporarily relocate last year due to the destruction of its previous structure.

Apple plans to open its fourth location in India, the second one in New Delhi's DLF Promenade mall, in 2026. After the Bandra Kurla Complex shop in Mumbai that opened in April, this facility may end up being Apple's second-largest in India. In addition, Apple is preparing the groundwork for a brand-new storefront in Yokohama, Japan, and has plans to move a different location to Shibuya Marui. In the year 2027, Apple plans to open a fifth store in India, this one in Mumbai's Worli neighbourhood.

The report also emphasises that Apple is actively considering or creating a number of important new stores. These include the company's first store in Malaysia as well as its first three locations in India, which signify the company's growth in that nation. Apple also has plans to renovate its historic store in Paris's Opera shopping district. Other anticipated shop openings include one in Miami and one in London's Battersea Power Station, which will be close to Apple's new regional headquarters. Additionally, a flagship location will open at Shanghai's Jing'an Temple Plaza.

As per the report, Apple Inc with headquarters in California has set its sights on growing its market share in Europe and will soon build a store in the Battersea, London. The company also plans to relocate its store in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, and open a new location at the La Vaguada shopping centre in Madrid. Over USD 95 billion, or nearly one-fourth of Apple's total sales, were generated in Europe last year, which contributed significantly to the company's financial performance. With about 40 outlets, the United Kingdom is in particular Apple's third-largest retail market.
