According to a report by analysts at JP Morgan, in 2020, Apple will expand its iPhone lineup to four models. Three of them will receive OLED screens and a 5G module. In addition, at least two iPhones will be equipped with the 2020 main camera TOF module, which signals in the new 3D functions.

The camera TOF (time-of-flight, "flight time") works on the same principle as TrueDepth in the top iPhone. It accurately determines the distance of each point of the object from the camera. Due to this, face ID cannot be cheated by a flat face image.

So far, the use of technology is limited to scanning and entertainment like anime, but the ability of TOF in 3D modelling and augmented reality is very high. It is possible that Apple will be surprised by the new app of this module early next year.

Although Apple is not going to leave the premium segment, the budget is designed to increase sales of the fourth model (as per iPhone standards). Analysts report that it will have an iPhone 8-shaped smartphone with an LCD screen and without 5G. There have been rumours about it.

Flagship iPhones will get OLED displays with a resolution of 5.4 ones, 6.1 ones, and 6.7 ones in 2020. For comparison, diagonal displays are iPhone XS, iPhone XR and iPhone XS Max 5.8 agon, 6.1 agones, and 6.5 agones respectively.
