Arindam Sil will start shooting for his much-acclaimed film 'Khela Jawkhon' from April. The film features Mimi Chakraborty Chakraborty, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Ridhima Ghosh, Harsh Chaiya, Tanushree Shankar, Arno Mukhopadhyay and other stars. The film will be shot in Kolkata, Bolpur and Kurseong. While the film's stunts will be done by Sunil Rodrigues. Bikram Ghosh is composing music and Subhankar is a DoP.

During an interview, he said, "We will start shooting for 'Khela Jocon' from the middle of April with Mimi Chakraborty, Parambrata Chatterjee and others. Although the central plot is similar, I have changed the treatment to a great extent. We will be shooting in two stages in Kurseong, Bolpur and Kolkata, Arindam explained his plans". Speaking about the second installment of Mithin Mashi, he said that plans are continuing for the Kerala installment but as of now, shooting in Kerala will not be possible due to Corona. Koel is in a family way. If not during the Puja, Mithin Mashi will definitely be in theaters this winter.

Arindam Sil is back with another new project. The film 'Mahananda' will be based on the life and work of writer and activist Mahasweta Devi, who dedicated her decades of life to the upliftment of the tribals of West Bengal, especially the Lodha and Shabar communities. While Gargi Roychowdhury will be seen as Mahasweta Devi, Isha Saha and Gaurav Chakraborty play pivotal roles in the rest of the cast.
