Mauna Shourie Kapoor, the mother of Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, is no longer in this world. She was the first wife of Boney Kapoor and she died in the year 2012. Arjun often remembers her, but now recently he told how he has suffered the loss of losing his mother forever. He told in an interview, "How he and his sister Anshula Kapoor endured this pain after their mother left."

Arjun told that "I did not open her room in the house for 6 years after the death of the mother. I and my sister Anshula could not gather courage. It is not a normal thing that there is no space in the house and you are always keeping a room closed. But it is the same for me and Anshula. This is her home. I go out every day, I am happy working, having fun, shooting, doing my dream job but can not tell mother all this after coming home. So everything seems incomplete".

Talking further, Arjun said, "I feel jealous of those people who go home and find a mother. It makes a lot of difference. I get stability by being around Anshula. But earlier Anshula used to work in Delhi at that time I was alone. I used to work to avoid loneliness. I tried not to run away from it. After this I accepted that this is my life, my mother is not with me."
