When the British were ruling India. In those days, it was almost impossible for any Indian to become a member of his Parliament of britain. He was the freedom fighter of India's earliest generation who voiced the rights of the people of India in a lofty manner. He was the first Indian to be elected as an MP in the British Parliament, the House of Commons. Dadabhai Naoroji was born on September 4, 1825. The Parsi intellectual of British India who did a lot of work as an educationist, a social leader. He had a big cotton business. He is known as 'Veteran Man of India'

At the same time, he wanted to go to England and create a positive atmosphere in favour of India and Indians. He not only impressed people like Ferozshah Mehta, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Muhammad Ali Jinnah who came to England to study but also helped and guided him in due time. Dadabhai, while in England, constantly explained to the British people how Indians are in trouble because of the persecution of British rule in India. The British should stand for them. He always drew constant attention to the poor condition of Indians in the British Parliament and the undeserved life of the British authorities there, but warned in Parliament that the results would not be good. However, it had little effect. He also wrote a book about it. He wanted Indians to join the freedom struggle at all circumstances. He was unhappy that Parsis stayed away from the war of freedom.

There is no doubt that his speeches in the House of Commons were heard very carefully. He used to work hard for it. He tried to accurately cite the right facts, figures and events. He was the first person to talk about India's swaraj at the Calcutta Session of the Congress (1906). He clearly said that 'We are not soliciting but we need justice'. Dadabhai died in Mumbai on June 30, 1917. But their struggle did not go in vain. Under British rule, things began to change gradually in India as well. A lot of changes were made. More and more Indian cooperation in the administrative services and responsible governance in India in the British Empire paved the way.
