Team India star batsman Shikhar Dhawan is celebrating his 36th birthday today. This splendid batsman of the Indian team, popularly known as Gabbar, has won many matches on his own strength while performing brilliantly. Shikhar Dhawan was born on this day in 1985.

Shikhar Dhawan was out without opening an account in his debut match. Due to which he had to be dropped from the team. But when he returned to the team and never looked back. Shikhar Dhawan was the highest run-scorer in the Junior (Under-19) World Cup in 2004. Shikhar also played a key role in winning the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017. He scored 338 runs in the tournament. Due to which he was also given a golden bat. Shikhar Dhawan, who made his debut for Team India in 2010, has scored more than 6,000 runs in 145 ODIs at an average of more than 45.

On the other hand, in 34 Tests, he has scored 3458 runs at a great average of 40. Playing T20 Internationals, Dhawan has scored 1759 runs in 68 matches at an average of over 27. Dhawan has also played 192 matches in the IPL. He has scored 5784 runs at an average of more than 34. Shikhar Dhawan also holds the record for the fastest century in his debut Test. He scored a century off 85 balls in his first Test against Australia.
