Itanagar: CM Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh has gone into isolation after his COVID19 test report came positive. He himself has informed this by tweeting. Khandu tweeted, "I did an RT-PCR test of Corona, whose results have come out positive. I feel absolutely fine. However, I have separated myself from the people in view of safety."

He further said, "I request all those who came to my contact to get their COVID-19 test done and follow the SOP". Earlier, some employees of Ram Krishna Mission Hospital in Itanagar were hit by the COVID-19 virus. After its employees tested COVID-19 positive, the Hospital had decided to temporarily stop all its services for a week.

Sources in the medical facility had told that emergency services were also stopped in the hospital on Sunday. A few days ago Pankaj Singh, son of Union Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP MLA from Noida Assembly seat, got infected with COVID-19 virus. He gave this information by tweeting. Pankaj Singh said that after the initial symptoms of COVID-19 virus infection were seen, he underwent an examination which came out positive. He was admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. He is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
