Itanagar: In Arunachal Pradesh, 305 patients infected with coronavirus have been found, after which the total cases of Covid-19 in this north-eastern state have increased to 48,565. A senior health official said in this regard on Tuesday. State Monitoring Officer (SSO) Dr. Lobsang Zampa said that the death toll has risen to 234 with the death toll of three more people including two women due to infection in the last two days.
The official said 3,508 patients are currently undergoing treatment in Arunachal Pradesh. Zampa said 469 more patients have recovered from the disease, raising the total number of recoverers in the state to 44,823. SSO said the recovery rate of patients is 92.29 percent and the infection rate is 6.05 percent. Zampa said a total of 9,47,244 samples have been tested for coronavirus in the state so far.
Meanwhile, State Immunization Officer Dr. Dimong Padung informed that a total of 8,60,976 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 since the vaccination drive began in January.
