Itanagar: A senior health department official has said that 21 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours. However, it is a matter of relief that the number of recovering patients has increased. A day's recovery crossed fresh corona infection cases in Arunachal Pradesh, where 21 new cases have been registered in a day, it said on Saturday.

The number of recovering patients was recorded at more than 50. With the new cases, the total number of corona infection cases in the state has increased to 54,865. State monitoring officer Lobsang Zampa said 54,196 people have recovered from the disease so far. The death toll in the border state rose to 280 after a 75-year-old man died of the virus on Friday. Arunachal Pradesh now has 389 active cases.

India has reported 19,740 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours amid the slowing down of corona in the country. There were 248 deaths due to the epidemic in the country. This number is the lowest in the last 206 days. In the last 24 hours, 23,070 people have been recovered after beating the epidemic. After which the number of people recovering from corona so far has increased to 3,32,48,291 in the country. The Union Health Ministry said that the active cases of corona in the country have now come down to 2,36,643.
