On the festive occasion of the Sarok, which will be celebrated on Tuesday, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra offered warm greetings to the people of the state in general and the Aka community in particular.

Mishra expressed confidence that the festival will bring all revered deities' blessings for the society's well-being and prosperity. The Governor stated in his statement that the Sarok festival shows the Aka community's age-old link with nature and aids in emulating the Aka fold's traditions, cultural history, and customs. He said that by celebrating this celebration, the community honours their forefathers who embodied the tribe's values.

He invited the younger generations to proudly reconnect with their roots and join in the festivities as an informed member of our cultural variety. In his message, Mishra stated, "On this auspicious day, I join my Aka comrades in giving prayers to beseech the spirit of almighty to protect us from the Corona epidemic and bless each of us with good fortune and health."
