New Delhi: The situation has started deteriorating amid the rising corona outbreak in the national capital. With the increase in coronavirus cases in Delhi, the number of patients admitted to all hospitals is also increasing. The administration of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNGP) Hospital said that more and more epidemic people are being admitted to hospitals.

Delhi has seen a significant increase in epidemic cases in the last three weeks. More than 3,500 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. CM Arvind Kejriwal has admitted that the city is reeling under the fourth wave of epidemics, though he refused to clear the implementation of the lockdown in the past. Dr. Ritu Saxena, Chief Medical Officer, LNGP, said, "There has been an increase in the number of patients admitted in the hospital in the last three to four days. Most of the patients currently hospitalized are in serious condition. However, it cannot be said that the number of deaths in the hospital is also increasing."

She further said, "Last year, our hospital has been one of the largest hospitals to treat covid-19 patients. There are adequate arrangements to deal with the prevailing situation in the hospital. We currently have 300 beds."
