New Delhi: BJP has attacked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal over rising air pollution in Delhi. BJP's Delhi unit president Adesh Gupta on Tuesday attacked Arvind Kejriwal through a tweet over the pollution abating model. Adesh Gupta wrote in the tweet, "Arvind Kejriwal's model to remove pollution! Bought stubble solution for Rs 40,000, sprayed it for Rs 22,84,000, spent Rs 15,80,36,828 on his campaign. The Supreme Court blew up yesterday!"
He wrote in another tweet, "SC has clearly stated that only 4% of pollution from stubble is contributed in Delhi. The AQI level of Haryana and Punjab is less than that of Delhi, is the whole impact of stubble in Delhi? There are 3 major causes of pollution in Delhi, 1. Vehicle, 2. Dust, 3. Factory. Arvind Kejriwal alone is responsible for 96% of pollution''.
Gupta also said, "Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal campaigned loudly that he was going to install a smog tower, but so far only one has been installed, that too from the CSR Fund of a private company. They will fight pollution like this! Is this Kejriwalji's pollution abating model''? With the AQI staying at 396 in the national capital on Tuesday, air quality was recorded in the 'very poor' category for the third consecutive day. The Air Quality Index (AQI) was 349 in Ghaziabad, 359 in Greater Noida, 363 in Gurugram and 382 in Noida in the morning.
