AAP likely to contest 2024 Lok Sabha polls alone: Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday hinted that his party will not be part of any such alliance, dealing a blow to opposition parties' efforts to forge an alliance against PM Narendra Modi for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In fact, after winning Punjab, the AAP is trying to project itself as an alternative to the BJP.

At present, the party's entire focus is on the Assembly elections in Gujarat. Kejriwal on Sunday asked party members to focus on building an alliance of 130 crore citizens of India through the 'Make India No. 1' campaign. Kejriwal claimed that Aap's growing popularity in Gujarat has shaken the BJP. He said that the people of India had united 75 years ago to end British imperialism. Similarly, we have to bring the people of the country together to make India Number One in the world.

Speaking at the first national conference of elected representatives held in Delhi on Sunday, Kejriwal said questions were being asked regarding Aap's strategy regarding the 2024 general election. But I don't understand the math of manipulation. Along with this, Kejriwal alleged that false cases are being fabricated against AAP leaders to stop the growing popularity of the party. "Those who say from the Red Fort that I am fighting against corruption are not fighting against corruption, they are fighting against AAP. '

Aap leaders continue to be accused of corruption:-

Let me tell you that the continuous arrests of Aam Aadmi Party leaders are raising serious questions about the party and the party's founder and convener Arvind Kejriwal. These questions become even more important because the leaders of the party which was born out of the anti-corruption movement, the leader who became the Chief Minister by vowing to eradicate corruption and change politics, are constantly getting caught in corruption cases. Kejriwal himself used to say that a leader who is accused of corruption should resign from his post and prove his innocence in the first investigation. But Health Minister Satyendar Jain, for whom Kejriwal had sought Padma Vibhushan, has been in jail for the last 4 months in a corruption case, but CM Kejriwal is not relieving him from the post. Jain has even said in ED's interrogation that his memory has been lost and he does not remember anything.

At the same time, Kejriwal's deputy Manish Sisodia himself was badly implicated in the liquor scam, and by withdrawing from its excise policy, the Delhi government itself had given opponents a chance to say that if there was no corruption, then why did the policy withdraw as soon as the inquiry was ordered? The arrest of Amanatullah Khan has given a major blow to Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal himself is praising his leaders fiercely, but he is not able to give any concrete evidence in his defense. This is also one of the reasons that are questioning the honesty of the Aam Aadmi Party and the intention of Arvind Kejriwal. Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal should prove his leaders innocent in the court and give a befitting reply to the opposition party, if they are not able to do so, then it will send only one message to the public and that is that Arvind Kejriwal himself has given protection to the corrupt. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi followed the same procedure when he was accused of the Rafale scam, he did not give a verbal reply to anyone but returned after proving himself innocent by showing all the documents in the court. If Kejriwal and his party leaders are innocent, they should also take the same path.
