New Delhi: Chief Minister of the national capital Delhi and National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi, asking to upgrade 10 lakh government schools. In his tweet, Arvind Kejriwal has written that 'PM Modi Ji has announced to upgrade 14,500 schools, which is very good. But there are 10 lakh government schools in the country. It is noteworthy that earlier Prime Minister Modi had said that model schools would be set up under the Prime Minister's School for Rising India (PM-SHRI), in keeping with the full spirit of the new National Education Policy. He had said that 14,500 schools would be upgraded across the country. These schools will be made model schools. These will contain a full glimpse of the National Education Policy.

On this announcement of PM Modi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal wrote that 'My letter to the Prime Minister. He announced upgrading 14,500 schools, very good. But there are 10 lakh government schools all over the country. In this way, it will take more than a hundred years to fix all the schools.
