NEW DELHI: Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President Arvind Kejriwal has announced an assistance of one crore rupees to the family of Air Force personnel Rajesh Kumar who lost his life in the AN-32 plane crash. Arvind Kejriwal also met Kumar's family and assured him that a member of Kumar's family would be given a government job.

It may be mentioned that an AN-32 incident took place on June 3 from Jorhat Air Force Station in Assam to Mechuka on the Indo-China border, in which 13 Indian Air Force personnel were killed. Earlier on the afternoon of June 3, an AN-32 aircraft took off from Jorhat in Assam to the Menchuka Advance Landing Ground. Within half an hour of the flight, the contact of the aircraft was broken from the control room and since then the aircraft could not find any clues.

A total of 13 people, including the pilot, were on board the plane. The wreckage of the AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force is about 15-20 kms north of the anAN-32 flight route in Arunachal Pradesh. According to an Air Force statement, the wreckage of the plane was found near A small village Lipo at 12,000 feet.
