On Sunday, CM tweeted that, 'Tomorrow I will go to file my nomination. If you come to give your blessings and good wishes, then I will feel very happy. Earlier this seat was known as Golmarket Assembly seat. Former CM and Congress leader Sheila Dixit won the 1998 and 2003 assembly elections here. After the liquidation in 2008, it was converted into a New Delhi assembly seat. In 2008, leader Sheila Dixit won this new seat, but it was the 2013 election when the New Delhi Assembly seat came into the limelight.
