The brilliant genius behind the mythological thriller series "Asur," Gaurav Shukla, has accomplished a fantastic achievement. As everyone involved suffers as a result of the search for the elusive Asur, "Asur 2" shows the fallout from the tragic events from the previous season. The CBI is working against the clock to gather evidence and catch the serial killer as Season 2 continues the evil side's unrelenting pursuit of the light.

Sharing a screenshot of the IMDB ranking of the show, he wrote, "When Asur season 1 was coming out, I felt that it was going to be one of the best shows our country has ever produced. When I read the second season, I felt that this might be one of the only shows whose 2nd season will do better than the 1st one but to be the only Indian show to feature in the top 60 shows around the world currently! I couldn't have imagined this. Sometimes, you work on something you know is great but the heights a creative piece can be taken to because of the love people give it is unfathomable, even by the people that are creating it. I think that people watching and loving Asur 2 (You people) have also become a part of this giant success now."
