Aishwarya started her career as a background dancer in Akshay Kumar's film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. After that, she hosted TV shows like Hello Kaun? Pehchaan Kaun and Lift Kara De. However, she made her acting debut with Rishita Dot Com. After that, she worked in the show Saas Bina Sasural, from which Aishwarya became a star. After that, she appeared in many serials. She also participated in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.

Aishwarya recently told Hindustan Times in an interview that she had no work for a year and a half. She said, "Actors are freelancers, and if we refuse something, we don't know how long the gap between two projects will last. I was also going through this situation, and the calls from TV had also stopped coming. This was a completely dry phase for me. I didn't know what was going wrong. Waking up every day had become difficult because I didn't have any purpose."

Aishwarya's husband supported her during this time. She further said, "He asked me to talk to a therapist, who suggested I take this course (to become a therapist) because he thought I could be good at it. When I was in doubt, Naag motivated me to take the course and start with a five-day workshop." Aishwarya said, "I've been studying therapy for the past two years and am now working as a therapist, taking clients. I got my certification last month in June. I'm now a trainer in this subject."

Aishwarya has changed her career path and is now working as a therapist. She has also started taking clients and has become a trainer in this field. This decision of hers has brought a new purpose to her life.
