Asha said that the quality of music and lyrics has come down in the last few years due to which she has kept a distance from the industry. Asha said that she has recently worked on a Marathi project. Asha said that she could not sing songs like 'Meri Jhopdi Jal Gayi'. Also, she also said that the kind of songs being made these days are not worth my songs. In today's songs, very rarely there are some lines for women.

However, Asha also said that if she gets good songs, then she will definitely sing. Talking about the decrease in the quality of songs, Asha said that nowadays people spend more time playing phones, due to which she do not have time to think. That is why she does not get a new approach to which she can do some good and creative work. She further said that neither she needs the name nor the money.
