Voting continues for Rajya Sabha elections, CM Gehlot and Shivraj cast vote

Bhopal: Voting has started for 19 Rajya Sabha seats from eight states of the country. In Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, there will be a fight between the BJP and the Congress. The Election Commission had postponed the election to 10 seats due to coronavirus. Polling is being held in four seats in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. Voting is being held in three seats each in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Elections are being held for two seats in Jharkhand and one seat each from Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot reached the assembly in Jaipur to vote. Voting is to be held today for 3 seats of Rajya Sabha in the state. After voting in the state assembly in Bhopal, former CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath said that it is very clear that we will win one seat in the Rajya Sabha election. Currently, voting is going on for the three Rajya Sabha seats in the state. BJP MLA Kesar Singh Jessangbhai Solanki of Matar assembly seat reached the assembly in an ambulance. He was admitted to hospital after his health deteriorated. He arrived here directly from the hospital. Voting continues for the 3 Rajya Sabha seats in the state.

The BJP has fielded three candidates Abhay Bhardwaj, Ramila Bara and Narhari Amin for four seats from Gujarat. The Congress has played bets on two seats, Shakti Singh Gohil and Bharat Singh Solanki. Congress and BJP have two candidates each in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP has fielded Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sumer Singh Solanki. Congress has given the ticket to Digvijay Singh Phool Singh Baraiya.
