India continued their spirited performance in the Asia Cup 2022 and played out a 3-3 draw against Malaysia in the Super 4 match on Sunday evening. Vishnukant Singh, SV Sunil, and Neelam Sanjeev Jess scored three goals for India. Malaysia started the match and tournament key player Razi Rahim converted a penalty corner in the first quarter to give his team a goal advantage. After which Rahim did the same again and Malaysia managed to take a two-goal lead in the half-time. After which Vishnukant started scoring for India from the penalty corner. Then SV Sunil converted a fine pass from Pawan Rajbhar into a goal. After which Neelam converted another penalty corner to move the count forward on the scoreboard, but Malaysia soon levelled and Rahim was once again on the scoresheet.

 

Praising the Indian team after this exciting match, former player Dilip Tirkey also posted Koo on his social media handle and wrote that Team India has made a good comeback to the 3-3 draw with 2 goals. The next match against Super4S table-toppers South Korea is also said to be very interesting. Looking forward to the next match. Indian player Neelam said, "We will come back stronger! Hopefully, the contribution for the teams is going to continue.''

 

Reports say that Korea is at the top of the Super 4 in terms of points, while India has come in second place. Japan has missed the chance to reach the final after two defeats. With zero, Malaysia is having the opportunity to go into the final when they beat Japan by at least 2 goals and the match between India and Korea is a draw.
