BANGALORE: Puneri Paltan defeated Telugu Titans 26-25 in the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bangalore on Tuesday thanks to Aslam Inamdar's last-second winning raid, giving them their second victory of Pro Kabaddi League Season 9. In the closing minutes of the game, both teams were well matched until Inamdar maintained composure and led his team over the finish line.

Both sides started cautiously, which resulted in a sluggish, low-scoring first half. The best raider was Mohit Goyat of Puneri Paltan, whose continuous touches kept the Titans on their toes without ever really putting them in danger of an All Out.

For the majority of the first half, Pune's defence was nearly as effective as its raiders. The only thing that kept the Titans in the race was Siddharth Desai's propensity for earning bonus points. Paltan was in the lead 11-9 when the teams entered the interval.

In the second half, The Paltan made a quick start and within a short period of time, they had forced the game's first All Out, their defence stopping Monu Goyat's raid to take a 16-11 lead.

Despite Desai scoring some significant points and often causing problems for the Paltan defence, the Titans were never able to significantly cut the advantage.

The Titans started to retake the lead with only a quarter of the game remaining. Surjeet Singh's amazing Super Tackle on Mohammad Nabibaksh to reduce the deficit to three was the catalyst for the event.

Mohit Goyat, Rakesh Ram, and Sanket Sawant were all caught off guard during the Titans' subsequent raid, Vinay's Super Raid, which gave them a 22-21 advantage for the first time in the game.

From that point on, the game became competitive as both sides raised their game to put on a show for the stadium's spectators. A breathless contest ended with the Paltan winning by one point, 25-24, in the last seconds. Desai earned the extra point to tie the game on the Titans' final raid.

Aslam Inamdar of Paltan was left with only a few seconds left to try and save the game. Monu Goyat made a vital error that allowed the Puneri Paltan to earn the necessary point for their second victory of the year.
