Kokrajhar: Amidst the corona crisis, a series of shocking cases have been reported from the country, meanwhile, another case has come to light in which the bodies of two minor sisters were found hanging from a tree in a village in Kokrajhar district of Assam. Kokrajhar Additional Superintendent of Police SS Panesar said that a case has been registered and four persons have been arrested. Police are looking into all possible links. He said the bodies were sent to Kokrajhar Civil Hospital for postmortem. After the report comes, some things will become clear. Meanwhile, the police investigation will continue.
The teenager were, aged 16 years and 14 years, was found hanging in a forest in her village where they lived. In the case, officials said, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma will visit the village today to inspect the situation. There has been silence in the village since this incident.
