Guwahati: The Class 12 test results for the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams were released on Monday by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). In the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, 2.15 lakh students registered for the Higher Secondary Final Examination 2022 at 796 testing locations throughout the state.
This year, 83.48 percent of students who took the Higher Secondary (Class 12) test in the Arts stream passed. Comparatively, 87.27 percent of students in the Commerce stream and 92.19 percent of students in the Science stream passed.

A total of 1,56,107 students in the Arts stream took the exam, and 29,487 of them received first division (60 percent or more), 52,944 received second division, and 47,893 received third division. 

Out of 15,199 students who took the exam in the Commerce stream, 5018 students received a first division, 5186 students a second division, and 3060 students a third division. Out of 33,534 students in the Science stream, 20171 students earned a first division, 9833 students a second division, and 911 students a third division.
