Assam CM asks BJP Tea Morcha to take feedback from workers over implementation of schemes

Dispur: Government is making massive effort for the upliftment of the tea garden workers. Now,  Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal has asked the workers of BJP Tea Morcha to interact and take feedback from tea garden workers regarding the implementation of the schemes undertaken by the BJP-led government. CM  urged Tea Morcha workers to submit a report to him and the State BJP President Ranjeet Kumar Dass within a month after taking the review of the tea garden workers.

Addressing the inaugural meeting of the party’s Assam Pradesh Tea Morcha in Jorhat on Thursday appealed Tea Morcha workers to visit over 10.5 lakh tea workers’ families across the State and interact with them regarding availing of the welfare schemes undertaken by the government and inform them. He appealed the Tea Morcha not to be irked if some tea workers criticised them regarding non-fullfilmment or having not benefited by the welfare measures. The CM told them to take it in a positive manner and find out the shortcomings in the  implementation of the schemes.

Reiterating his government’s commitment to uplift the social and economic conditions of the tea workers’ community, Sonowal said that his government has been taking initiatives and will continue to do so in order to ensure a better and dignified life for tea workers’ community.
