Assembly elections: 'Kamal' gains momentum in Assam, left storm in Kerala, know state of Bengal

New Delhi: In the trends so far, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government seems to be forming again in Assam. In Assam, the counting of votes is underway. In Assam's early trends, the saffron party has crossed the majority mark. At present, the BJP seems to be leading in 76 seats in the trends. The Congress is also chasing 36 seats. However, others also seem to be taking the lead in 3 seats. So far, trends have come in for 113 seats, while the total number of seats is 126.

Counting of votes is also underway for the West Bengal Assembly elections. According to media reports, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress (TMC) has touched the majority mark in Bengal trends. In Bengal, trends in 280 seats have come out. In Bengal, Trinamool Congress (TMC) is leading in 167 seats and BJP is leading in 113 seats. The Congress-Left alliance is leading in 2 seats while the other 3 seats are leading.  Though Mamata Banerjee herself is trailing by 8000 votes from the Nandigram seat, BJP's Suvendu Adhikari has the upper hand.

The counting of votes for Kerala assembly elections is underway. At present, there are early trends in 140 seats, with the LDF showing a clear consensus. In Kerala, the LDF alliance is leading in 93 seats while UDF is leading in 44 seats. BJP and others seem to be losing 1-2 seats respectively.
