The Government has also taken some options to find out what options are left with those who are not included in the list.

Those who are not on the final list of the NRC can appeal to the Foreign Tribunal. However, it will have to work within 120 days. At present, there are 100 Tribunals functioning in Assam. According to information, 200 more tribunals will be set up. The tribunal will start taking applications from Monday. The Foreign Tribunal will be able to appeal to the High Court and the Supreme Court if they do not find a place in the NRC.

Not only that, the Government will not be able to take any action against them till all legal options are tried. However, Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal has told people that there is no need to be concerned about being out of the NRC, maintain peace. Assam NRC's list has been live.
