Lucknow: The UP Congress Committee has extended the organization as part of its plan of preparations for the upcoming assembly election. Looking at the caste equations, two new vice presidents, 6 new general secretaries, 22 secretaries and two organizational secretaries have been appointed. After the organization expansion, 40 percent backward classes have been represented in the state committee. Special attention has been paid to the backward classes. The general classes have also received 30 percent representation.

Also, given the political state of the state, Brahmins have been given the most attention. About 19 percent of the Brahmins are in the state committee. Minority community participation is 17 percent. Particularly through Kanpur Cant MLA Suhail Akhtar Ansari, the party has made a strategy to prepare land in the weaver belt. Also, in the committee expanded on Monday, Kanpur Cant MLA Sohail Akhtar Ansari and Yogesh Dixit have been given the responsibility of state vice-president.

The 6 new general secretaries Vivekananda Pathak, Maqsood Khan, Ankit Parihar, Vidit Chaudhary, Brahmaswaroop Sagar and Prakash Pradhan Lodhi have been made. 22 new secretaries have also been included. These are - Hanumantha Vishwakarma, Manoj Tiwari, Tribhuvan Narayan Mishra, Imran Khan, Kaushal Tripathi, Devendra Shrivastava, Manindra Mishra, Ujjwal Shukla, Rahul Rajbhar, Saif Ali Naqvi, Anshu Tiwari, Sunil Vishnoi, Avnish Kajla, Mohammad Shoaib, Aslam Chaudhary, Jitendra Kashyap, Yogesh Talan, Kaushalendra Yadav, Vikas Awasthi, Neetam Sachan, Akhilesh Shukla, Pushpendra Singh have been appointed. Apart from this, Sanjeev Sharma and Anil Kumar Yadav have been made organization secretaries. With this, many changes can be made.
