Athiya Shetty, daughter and actress of Bollywood film veteran Sunil Shetty, is celebrating her birthday today Athiya Shetty was born in Mumbai on November 5, 1992. Sunil Shetty and Mana Shetty's daughter Athiya is the darling in the house. He has a younger brother Ahan. The trailer of Ahan's Bollywood debut film was released recently. Athiya has done her schooling at Cathedral and John Cannon School in Mumbai and the American School of Bombay.

She used to participate in the school play with Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff due to the same schooling. At the age of 18, she moved to New York, where she joined the New York Film Academy. Athiya made her debut with Nikhil Advani's romantic action movie 'Hero' in 2015. The movie is an official remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 movie with the same name. The movie was produced by Salman Khan. Suraj Pancholi played the lead role in the movie with Athiya though the film flopped at the box office.

Athiya then appeared in the comedy film 'Mubarakan' about two years later. The Anees Bazmee movie starred Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz in lead roles. The film did not do much at the box office. Athiya then did the films 'Nawabzaade' and 'Motichoor Chaknachoor.' Both these films also flopped. Athiya's magic in movies may not have worked yet, but she is certainly happy about the news of her affair. There is talk that Athiya and cricketer KL Rahul are dating each other. Whether it is a holiday or a dinner date, Athiya and Rahul have been spotted together several times though neither of them has yet admitted to their relationship.
