Indian athletes and coaches have praised the online workshop organized by the Sports Authority of India (SAI). The workshop started on 16 April and its first session was also attended by Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju.

World Championship-2003 bronze medalist Anju Bobby George said, SAI could not have chosen a better time for this workshop. Right now coaches have time and during this time they are getting a chance to increase their skill level and exchange ideas with each other. A large number of coaches are participating in the session. It is good to see that the Sports Minister and the Director-General of SAI also participated in it. Former Olympian shooter and currently the Indian Junior Rifle Team High-Performance Coach Suma Shirur has also praised SAI's initiative.

High jump para-athlete Sharad Kumar also participated in the online session. He said this is a great initiative started by Indian Athletics Federation, Ministry of Sports and SAI. I have attended both classes and I am excited to participate till the end.
