One such story is related to businessman Rajeev Tandon. Actually, grandfather had bought a land on Rajeev's side. Rajiv Tandon was married in 1989. He used to do wire work. He had opened a big factory related to wire. After this Rajiv was surrounded by a disease. Rajeev Tandon remained bedridden for 6 months. Here he started facing losses in his business. Due to this, he had to take a loan from State Bank of India (SBI). The loan taken by Rajeev. He was continuously increasing on them. To repay the loan, Rajeev Tandon also started a coaching center. Which started with 15 children.
When mafia don Atiq came to know about this, he asked Rajeev to vacate his house in 2 months in October 2014. Atiq threatened that I have bought this property. After this, one evening Atiq along with his henchman Ajay Hela threatened Rajeev Tandon's house with 6 goons. Atiq's people entered Rajeev's house in 3 vehicles. Rajiv's wife was in the house. When he did not open the door, Atiq himself entered inside threateningly. The luxurious house of Rajeev Tandon was built in 1264 yards of land. Which was around 15 crores at that time.
Atiq's power and Atiq's terror can be gauged from the fact that the police did not even register Rajeev's complaint in the matter. According to Rajeev Tandon, he gave a complaint against Atiq in the police station. At that time there was SP government in the state. But seeing the name of Atiq in the complaint, the policemen chased him away from the police station and did not register the case. Rajiv Tandon was badly broken by this whole incident. He then took support of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and then became an active member of VHP. His house was saved after VHP's board was installed at his house. To save his house, Rajeev started conducting VHP programs there, Rajeev Tandon says that when the government changed in the year 2017, his FIR was registered at the Khuldabad police station.
