This attack took place at that time, on Sunday, 23 February 2020, Russian supported regime forces carried out airstrikes in Idlib. 5 civilians have died in Russian airstrikes. This area of Syria is occupied by the rebels. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Russian attacks targeted the Jabal al-Zawiya region bordering Idlib's jihadist and rebel-dominated northwestern province. Earlier in the last week of January, at least 23 civilians were killed in Russia's airstrike in northwest Syria. This area is occupied by the rebels.
