Aurangzeb's father pleas the government to eradicate militancy

The father of Rifleman Aurangzeb, Mohd. Hanif who was kidnapped and was later brutally murdered by terrorists in Pulwama's Gusoo has made an emotional appeal to the Centre and the population of Jammu and Kashmir and also the government to eradicate militancy from the valley when he laid his son into the grave. Mohd Hanif asserted that his son gave up his life for the country and not just Jammu and Kashmir and he feels that the entire nation is sad and disheartened with his loss. He said that his son has stood well by his pledge and he did not break his promise. He feels that his son gave his life for the country and then returned to him. He has requested the central and the state governments to tear off militancy from the valley. On Saturday, a great crowd of disheartened people bid an emotional farewell to Aurangzeb at his native village in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. When the Jawan was being laid into his grave with all the state honours, the localities raised slogans of 'Shaheed Aurangzeb Amar Rahe' at his funeral. People also raised anti-Pakistan slogans to express their rage over the incident.
