New Delhi: The final match of the World Test Championship (WTC) is being played between India and Australia at the Oval ground. Meanwhile, there has been a claim of ball tampering in the title match. Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has accused Kangaroo bowlers of ball-tampering, claiming this in a video. Ali has claimed that Australia took the wickets of Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara in the first innings by tampering the ball.

Actually, Basit Ali has uploaded a video on his YouTube channel. Through this video, Basit Ali accused Australia of ball tampering. "First of all, I will sit on TV and in the stadium and clap for the people watching the match and the people who are commentating and the umpires. I don't know whether the person above has given eyes or buttons to these people (umpires). Australia made such a clean ball (ball tampering) and nobody is even discussing it. The biggest example of this is the batsman getting bold while leaving the ball."

Basit Ali said, "I know there is no evidence. But I'll give you evidence today. By the 53rd-54th over, when Mohammed Shami was bowling and Steve Smith was batting, the shine of the ball was on the outside. In this over, the ball was going outwards. This is not called reverse swing. Reverse swing occurs when the shine is inside and the ball comes inwards." Basit Ali further said, "Look at the bowling of 16th, 17th and 18th overs while batting for India. During this time, look at the shine of the ball on which Virat Kohli got out. Mitchell Starc had the ball in his hand and Shine was outwards, but despite this, the ball was going in the other direction. At the same time, when Jadeja was hitting the ball on the on side and the ball was going over the point. The umpires seem to have gone blind. Shine was inside when Cameron Green bowled the ball to Pujara. But he became bold."

Along with this, the former Pakistani cricketer also said, "BCCI is such a big board. Don't they see all this? This means that there is no focus on cricket. You have reached the final, so everything went right? There is a lot of wrong cricket happening. At the same time, Basit Ali has recalled the controversy of sand ball tampering by David Warner and Steve Smith and said that thieves should go by theft, not manipulation."

"Is there ever a reverse swing in 15-16 overs, that too duke's ball? Duke's ball gets a reverse swing after at least 40 overs. The Kookaburra ball starts to reverse swing after 18-20 overs. I am deeply sorry.  Meanwhile, a video is becoming fiercely viral on social media. In the video, Australian cricketer Marnus Labuschagne is seen wiping the ball with a crepe band. Usually, bowlers use soft towels to wipe the ball. At the same time, the crepe band is rough. There is a possibility of ball tampering. Therefore, after the video surfaced, the claims of ball tampering are gaining strength."
