New Delhi [India], Feb 3: Aussies batsmen Merlo waits for the ball and dabs it through cover-point. Brings up Merlo's fifty! A four-fer in the previous match with the ball, and now a half-ton. The Australians would love him to bat big. Just a raise of bat towards the dressing room from the all-rounder. Indian under-19 bowler Anukul Roy has led the show with 12 wickets in the tournament and his backbreaking five-fer against PNG will be talked about for some time. Mavi and Nagarkoti have already been picked up in the IPL auction, a marker of how impressive they have been. There is little that India would worry about, having been unbeaten in the tournament so far, except the law of averages which for the time being is the only possible hurdle. Also, they would want their captain to score big, having got starts in every outing.

India missed golden opportunity when Shiva Singh bowling to Merlo and was dropped. Tough chance for the keeper. Merlo was punching off the back foot and there was a fair deviation off his edge. May have served Desai better if he hadn't got his gloves in the way. Could have gone straight to slip. Would have been tough either way

Leading wicket taker in the tournament Anukul Roy dismissed Uppal by Caught&Bowled. The partnership had been broken for the fourth wicket. A slower ball, quicker ball and now another slower ball. It was flighted around the leg-stump line and Uppal was back in his crease to work it through the leg-side. Was a touch early to close his bat-face and the ball popped back to the bowler off the leading edge. A simple return catch for Anukul Roy. Uppal scored 34 off 58 balls
