Swimmer Chloe McCardel of Australia has set a new record. The 35-year-old swimmer set a world record by swimming for 10 hours and 40 minutes. She performed this feat for the 35th time, beating the record of the man crossing the channel 34 times. On Saturday evening, Chloe started the journey near Folkestone near Abbot Cliff Beach. While swimming for about 11 hours, Chloe broke the men's record of crossing the channel 34 times and reached number two on this list.
