Hero Motocorp company vehicles will become expensive from 1 January 2020. ) The company's scooters and motorcycles are going to be expensive. The company is going to increase the price of its scooters and bikes by up to Rs 2,000. Earlier, Maruti Suzuki has also announced to increase the price of its vehicles. The company has not given any reason behind the price increase. Some time ago, Hero MotoCorp stopped production of many BS4 vehicles. After the announcement of increasing the price, the company's sales may increase. After this announcement, customers would prefer to buy before the price increases. Apart from Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra have also announced their products to be expensive.

It is to be noted that Hero i Smart is the first BSVI bike of the company. There are now 5 months left for BSVI Norms to be implemented in India. More BSVI compliant bikes will come on the market in the coming times. The company also announced sometime back that Hero Splendor i Smart will be the company's first BS6 bike. This bike has a 113.2 cc engine. The current model of the Splendor iSmart 110 features a 109.15 cc, air-cooled engine. This engine generates power of 9.4 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 4-speed gearbox. The power output of the BS6 model is also similar to the current model. BS6 norms are being implemented in India from 1 April. Hero Splendor iSmart is the company's first BS6 compliant bike. Apart from Hero MotoCorp, two more companies can also increase the price of their products.
