Yamaha has also launched its flagship bike R15 V3 with a BS6 engine. Yamaha has introduced the 155cc capacity bike in the new emission standard engine. After this, Yamaha has become the third company in the country to launch a bike with the BS6 engine. Earlier, Honda CB Shine SP125 and Hero MotoCorp Splendor iSmart have been launched in the BS6 engine. The company has launched this bike in three colors Racing Blue, Thunder Gray and Darknight. The new bike will power 18.6 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of torque at 8,500rpm. The rest of the specifications are the same as the old BS-4 bikes.

It is worth noting that Yamaha has kept the ex-showroom price of this bike at Rs 1.46 lakh, which will be four thousand rupees more expensive than the current BS4 variant. Earlier in November, Yamaha launched the FZ FI and FZ-S Fi with the BS6 engine. The ex-showroom price of the FZ FI starts at Rs 99,200 and the FZ-S Fi starts at Rs 1,01,200. These bikes of Yamaha have a 149 cc engine, which gives a maximum power of 12.4 PS at 7,250 rpm and 13.6 Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Both the bikes will get single-channel ABS in the front wheel, as well as front and rear disc brakes.
