New Delhi: A section of auto drivers in the country's capital Delhi have called for a strike today over the hike in CNG prices. The association of auto, cab and taxi drivers staged a protest at Jantar Mantar on Friday. In fact, the price of CNG in Delhi increased by Rs 2.50 per kg on Thursday. Cng prices have been hiked for the 10th time in the last one month.

Vijay Kumar, an auto driver, is on strike against the hike in the price of CNG (CNG) in Delhi. The price of CNG is increasing day by day, affecting the work. The old meter rates are still running. He said that we are facing a lot of problems due to inflation. If we ask for Rs 10-20 more from the passengers, they get off the auto and leave. The price of CNG is increasing every day. Where will the poor go? The government will take cognizance only when all the drivers take to the roads. The government does not listen to the poor, we formed the government, but they are not looking at us.

Prem Das, an auto-rickshaw driver, said, "Many of us drive auto-rickshaws on rent. After buying CNG and paying the rent money to the auto-rickshaw owner, we are left with nothing in our hands. What will we earn and what will we save for ourselves?''
