New Delhi: India will take a decision on starting international flights after the countries have given concession in the rules regarding entry of foreign nationals. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri has given information in this regard on Sunday. Countries like Japan and Singapore have imposed significant restrictions on the entry of foreigners during the Coronavirus epidemic.

Puri said in a tweet that, "As soon as the countries will be relaxed in the rules for entry of foreign nationals to themselves, a decision will be taken to restore regular international flights." Destination countries must be prepared to approve incoming flights. " Domestic passenger flights were resumed in India from 25 May. Prior to this, flights were banned due to lockdown implemented to prevent corona virus for about two months.

Air India has started booking for passengers going to other countries of the world including America and Canada under the Vanda India Mission from June 5. Under the government's Vande Bharat Mission, booking from June 5 to June 9-30, 2020 will be able to travel. These flights will be available to many important cities in the US and Canada such as New York, Newark, Chicago, Washington, San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto. Puri said that it may take time for the international flights to start right now. Most metro cities of the country are currently in the Red Zone, due to which people from outside cities cannot come to catch flights.
