New Delhi: One of the oldest and disputed cases in the country, the decision to own the Ram Janmabhoomi may come soon. The trial of this case will be completed by October 18. The case is being heard by a bench headed by the Chief Justice. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi is retiring on 17 November. Therefore, a decision on this will come before his retirement. The special judge, who is hearing the Babri structure demolition case, is retiring on September 30, but his tenure has been extended till the completion of the trial. He had asked the Supreme Court to take another six months to complete the hearing.

It is clear from this situation that the trial of the ownership case at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will be completed before Diwali and the verdict will come after Diwali by mid-November. The Constitution Bench, which is hearing the matter daily, had asked all the parties last week to try together to complete the hearing by October 18.

The court had also said that if it is necessary for this, the court will hear an hour more or a hearing can be held on Saturday. So far, 28 days of hearing have been completed in this case and till October 18, the court has 14 working days left for hearing. After the hearing is over, the court will have about one month's time left for the verdict.
