The city of Ayodhya is buzzing with religious excitement as the eagerly awaited Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla is set to unfold in the grand temple on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will oversee the 'pran-pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

As part of the festivities, attendees on Monday will receive prasad boxes, each containing a minimum of seven items, including laddoos and a diya. The Temple Trust placed an order for 15,000 boxes from the renowned sweet shop, Chhapan Bhog in Lucknow, which generously refused payment for the order.

The 'pran-pratishtha' ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12:20 PM on the auspicious nakshatra and will conclude by 1:00 PM on January 22. Around 7,000 VVIPs, including actors, sportspersons, industrialists, politicians, and others from across the nation, are expected to attend the event.

The prasad box will contain two ghee Mawa laddoos, gur revdi, ramdana chikki, akshat, roli, Tulsi dal, a Ram diya, and cardamom seeds. Guests will also be treated to Mahaprasad, featuring ‘satvik’ food cooked in desi ghee, prepared with great care by Bharti Garvi Gujarat and Sant Seva Sansthan from Gujarat under the guidance of the Temple Trust.

It's noteworthy that before the 'pran-pratishtha' ceremony, PM Modi is observing an 11-day 'anushthan,' involving austere practices like sleeping on the floor and consuming only coconut water. Additionally, he visited various temples across India and took a sacred dip at the Rameswaram ‘Angi theerth’ beach.

The guest list for the event exceeds 7,000, including 506 A-listers. Notable attendees include Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, and iconic sports figure Sachin Tendulkar.

This consecration ceremony signifies the beginning of the temple's construction, a crucial milestone made possible by a landmark Supreme Court judgment in 2019 on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit. In the legal dispute, Hindu litigants argued that the Babri Mosque was built on the grounds of a temple, historically marking the birthplace of Lord Ram.
