Ayodhya's Ram Mandir complex is set to be an eco-friendly sanctuary, with the temple trust revealing plans for a lush green area covering about 70% of the expansive 70-acre complex. Champat Rai, the general secretary of the Ram temple trust, unveiled these eco-centric features, highlighting the preservation of approximately 600 existing trees within the green belt.

Emphasizing the self-reliance of the complex, Rai explained that it will manage its sewage and water treatment independently, along with its own dedicated power supply. The upcoming temple, presented in its initial phase, is nearing completion, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to participate in the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol on January 22.

During Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya's visit to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra office in Ramkot, Ayodhya, preparations for Modi's upcoming visit were underway. Modi is expected to inaugurate the revamped Ayodhya railway station and a new airport on December 30, along with addressing a rally.

The temple's architectural layout was also showcased, revealing details such as the entrance from the east and exit from the south. The temple structure itself will eventually stand at three stories tall (G+2), with visitors climbing 32 steps from the eastern side to access the main temple.

Constructed in the traditional Nagara style, the grand temple will measure 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height. Each floor will house 392 pillars and 44 gates, maintaining a height of 20 feet per floor.

Distinctive features include a 'percota,' a rectangular periphery typically seen in South Indian temples but uncommon in the northern region. Spanning 732 meters and 14 feet wide, the 'percota' will be dedicated to the Sun God, Maa Bhagwati, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Shiva at its four corners.

Additionally, several shrines are planned within the complex, honoring figures such as Maharshi Valmiki, Maharshi Vashisht, Maharshi Vishwamitra, Maharshi Agastya, Nishad Raj, Mata Shabri, and Devi Ahilya, all integral to Lord Ram's life. A shrine dedicated to Maa Annapurna will be built on the northern side, while a shrine for Lord Hanuman will stand on the southern side.

Furthermore, the installation of an idol of Jatayu at Ayodhya’s Kuber Tila and the revitalization of an ancient Shiva temple on the same site were also announced by Rai.
