For those planning to attend the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a recent update may alter your plans. Scheduled for January 22, the consecration ceremony at the newly built temple will only allow entry to individuals with valid invitations from the Ram Temple Trust or those assigned government duties.

In a recent meeting held in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to urge local hotel owners to cancel any advance bookings made by individuals not invited by the trust. Preference will be given to those invited by the trust for accommodation arrangements, alongside provisions for pilgrims in Dharamshala and hotels at predetermined rates.

On the inauguration day, only those possessing invitation letters or engaged in government duties will be granted access to Ayodhya. Notably, some individuals have booked accommodations in local hotels and Dharamshalas for the pran pratistha ceremony on January 22. To ensure seamless management, these reservations are being advised for cancellation.

Expecting special invitees from various parts of India, around 100 planes are anticipated to land at Ayodhya airport on the designated day. Authorities are preparing contingency plans for potential diversions as needed.

Ayodhya District Magistrate Nitish Kumar mentioned, "We are currently scrutinizing hotel bookings and reviewing the profiles of customers who have made room reservations. If any irregularities are identified, appropriate actions will be taken."
