New Delhi: The government has launched a campaign to distribute written guidelines on AYUSH prophylactic medicine, diet, and lifestyle to 75 lakh people in India. This campaign of the government in this difficult time of epidemic will help in improving the immunity-enhancing lifestyle. Pradeep Multani, senior vice president of the same PHDCCI, said in a statement, "This initiative will play an important role in ensuring an immunity-filled lifestyle.''
At this time of corona threat, special attention needs to be paid to the immuno-compromised bracket (elderly and frontline workers) of the population. The campaign was launched by Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Minister of State for AYUSH Munjpara on September 2. Further, under this campaign, written guidelines formulated with a view to controlling immunity-enhancing medicine and corona infection in the next year will be distributed among 75 lakh persons across the country.
The campaign of the Ministry of AYUSH will focus on persons aged 60 years and above and frontline workers. The kit of AYUSH medicine that prevents coronavirus contains Sanshamani Vati (also known as Guduchi or Giloy cube Vati) and Ashwagandha cube Vati. This kit and guidelines of prophylactic Ayurvedic medicines have been developed by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Medicine.
