According to the information received, about two hundred women related to Gulmehar have taken a big decision. This time on Rakshabandhan, they are going to make rakhis. The income from this will be used in their welfare and maintenance. This initiative has got the support of Ayushmann. He is engaged in drawing the attention of people. In a conversation with media, he says, "Tahira and I are deeply involved with 'Gulmehar'. This organization is doing extraordinary work to help this needy population of Delhi. Due to the epidemic, most of them are women they are facing a lot of problems they are very insecure. Their income has also been greatly affected."

Ayushman has also said, "Rakhi is a symbol of love and sacred bond of brother and sister. Helping the noble cause of these women by buying Rakhis made by them also fulfils the motive of 'Self Reliant India'."
